We strive to provide excellent customer service and a friendly shopping experience. While we stock a wide variety of models from many manufacturers, some items may not make it onto the website. If you are searching for a specific model and do not see it listed on our website, please contact us by email at: email@example.com.
We may be able to place a special-order and will do our best to help!
Order Processing Times
All orders received will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days of order placement if the item is currently in stock. Any item we currently have in stock will include the following statement in the product page:
In stock, ready to be shipped.
Only # units left.
Special-order items usually ship within 5-10 business days after order placement and will include the following statement in the product page:
Special-Order - Ships within 10 days
Should there be an issue placing your special-order, we will contact you immediately via email. On rare occasions, special-order items may be unavailable. In this event, a full refund or credit towards another purchase (customer's choice) will be offered.
Please note, if your order contains a combination of Pre-Order, In-Stock or Special-Order items, your order will ship once all items have arrived in our warehouse.
For shipping purposes, we consider business days to be Monday through Friday. Holidays are excluded as business/shipping days.
We offer order tracking to provide you with the most up to date information on your order. Once your order is processed for shipping, you will receive a confirmation email with Mail/Freight Carrier tracking information.
All orders are inspected to ensure they are in satisfactory condition prior to leaving our warehouse. We take pride in providing the highest quality aircraft model products to our customers!
International Shipping - Forwarding Services Policy
HobbyJets currently offers shipping to all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. While we hope to expand our international offerings in the near future, we cannot send orders outside of these boundaries. For international customers, we encourage the use of an international forwarding service. These services must be paid for and coordinated by the customer. HobbyJets is no longer responsible for the safety of your order once it is confirmed as delivered to the forwarder's location. Standard shipping rates will apply to the forwarder's location.
Many die-cast models are limited edition, meaning quantities will sell out fast! Therefore, we highly encourage pre-orders. Most items listed in our Pre-Orders Section contain an expected arrival date. The expected arrival date is based on the information we receive from the manufacturer and is an approximate date the order is expected to arrive at our warehouse. Some manufacturers do not provide expected arrival dates. Please note that arrival dates are subject to change. Payment is processed at the time of order placement.
We currently accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club International, and JCB Credit Cards, and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks, traveler's checks, or cash. If you are looking to finance an order, this may be accomplished though PayPal's credit service. NOTE: These services are provided outside of our control and we are not able to provide any assistance with applications for PayPal Credit.
All payments are processed at the time of order placement (including pre-orders).
All orders are covered by a 30-day return policy. The 30-day period begins on the date your item is delivered. Any defective items, including items with broken wings, broken landing gear, broken antennas, smudged/crooked paint, incorrect/partial aircraft registration, will be replaced. However, if you decide to return an item that is delivered in satisfactory condition (same condition as it leaves the factory), a 15% restocking fee will be charged. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items that are delivered to our customers in satisfactory condition. For quality control purposes and to ensure we deliver the best possible product, all items are photographed by HobbyJets prior to leaving our warehouse. If you receive a damaged item, please keep the original box and packaging, and notify us as soon as possible (no later than 30 days), after the receipt of your item.
Defective Item Policy
An Item Will Not Be Considered Defective for the Following Reasons:
1) Improper Cockpit Placement-Too high/Too low.
2) Polished metal variations, or glossiness of the clear coat.
3) Wheels that do not touch the floor when the item is on a flat surface.
4) Wheels that do not turn or float, even if designed to do so.
5) Surface imperfections which are not visible with the model displayed on its wheels or stand including tiny rub marks, tiny amounts of excessive glue.
6) Issues that are not noticeable under normal/viewing lighting conditions without a magnifying, or spot lighting conditions.
Please Note: Returns will not be accepted for exchange on an item when any modifications/repairs have been attempted by the purchaser. If an item is broken, it is best to send it to us in the condition received. Do not attempt to repair the item, as our return policy does not cover modifications or repair attempts made by the purchaser.
We invite you to participate in our Hobby Jets Rewards Program (Jet Points). More information about enrollment in our Jet Points Program and how rewards are accumulated may be found by clicking on the ‘Rewards’ icon on our web pages.
Rewards Program Terms & Conditions
The Jet Points Rewards Program, as well as any of the Rewards Program terms & conditions, are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to modify or waive any Program feature or benefit at any time without prior notice, including, without limitation, point accrual, redemption criteria or temporary suspension. In the event of a program cancellation, the action will be preceded by a sixty (60) day advance notification on the Hobby Jets website (hobbyjets.com). During the sixty-day cancellation notification period, customers will have the opportunity to redeem any accumulated points in accordance with our rewards redemption policy.
We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke individual rewards points and participation in the Hobby Jets Reward Program (Jet Points) for any abuse of the rewards program.
Jet Points are not redeemable for cash.
Jet Points cannot be combined or redeemed in the same transaction with a discount code/coupon.
